This past tuesday I went in to get my Paragard IUD inserted, but it was a failed attempt because of my cervix. My midwife was able to get it through the first part of my cervix no problem, but the inner part of my cervix won't let the measuring object go through. Therefore, she prescribed me 2 oral misoprostol pill to take before my next appt next week. I'm suppose to take one the night before and the other the morning of. I'm really hoping for it to work. She is a really good midwife and doesn't want to force it through the inner cervix. It was painful enough with her jux trying to get it through without force.

Btw, she did say that I am one of those few who's cervix is like that. I've already had two kids, a two-year-old and a 6 week-old baby.
