does anyone know how i can get rid of mullscum?

So i have had what my doctor think is mullscum. its in the genital area. I have had it for 8 months and its not serious yet. She said i probably caught it from my boyfriend who has been with tons of girls. i on the other hand have only been with him. i was with him for a year before i noticed it. He has no spots though. Another thing i was thinking was that maybe i caught it from a public bathroom toilet seat. I had been using alot of public bathrooms while i was pregnant. my insurance will not cover dermetology so i need the next best solution please someone help me

Unless you know he had it right before you, it is hard to say where it came from. Molluscum can be treated with liquid nitrogen, curetting (scraping off), imiquimod cream and condylox gel. The two last ones are applied to the skin. See your regular doctor or gynecologist and see what they have available.

be spread by skin-to-skin contact, or indirectly through contact with objects that have been contaminated by an infected person, such as towels or clothing.
    Be careful with your baby.

Often no treatment is given and it clears up spontaneously,
You need the diagnosis confirmed and perhaps your doctor would write you a prescription.
"Most of the creams and oral medicines are available by prescription.
Creams that include certain chemicals (i.e., salicylic acid, podophyllin, tretinoin, and cantharidin) may be used to remove the bumps."

Don't fall for any wonder treatments you see online.
Take care to avoid it spreading and perhaps go to a free clinic?
