I've had varicose veins in my left leg since I was 21 (I'm 27 now). They've progressed slowly and haven't really gotten worse in the last two years. I sometimes experience aches and warmth in my leg. I've told my doctor about it and he didn't seem concerned. In the last week, I've been feeling a deep pulse for a few seconds periodically in my left thigh. I can't feel it with my hand when it's on my leg. I have poor blood circulation/Raynaud's in my fingers and toes. I am relatively active (morning exercise, walking where ever possible). This hasn't made the pulsing better or worse. I don't feel the same kind of pulsing anywhere else in my body. Any idea if this could be DVT or another condition? Anything to be worried about?
You should make an appointment with a vein clinic and have it checked out by a specialist. The sooner you do it the better.
