Is it normal to lose weight when you sick?

Okay so i'm usually 99 pounds but now i'm 94. I've had diarrhea, ew. :/ and a fever. I also haven't been eating much except some fresca and saltine crackers. I've been like this for about 2 or 3 days. Is that normal or no..?

Yes, your body starts breaking down all or your energy stores so that your immune system can have the fuel to fight the infection, it's sort of like your body is doing a hard workout even though you aren't exercising (this is part of the reason many people are sore). In addition, most people (like you) don't eat very much and don't replace the energy that their body is burning so you lose weight.
