Thread: Are there any transgender therapists/psychologists in the Morgantown, WV area?

I have already come out as transgender to pretty much everyone in my life. I've kind of just been living day to day trying my best to survive and haven't been able to find a therapist to help me start my transition yet. It is now getting to the point where I have to start this journey so I can be put on hormones and start to make my body match who I am inside. Living in WV, it's very hard to find any type of therapist that specializes in this and has knowledge and expertise in this field. I would love to find a therapist who knows what they are doing in the Morgantown/Fairmont/Clarksburg area. Does anyone know of any therapists that may be able to help?

I think the closest you'll find one is going to be Pittsburgh.

Definitely not Pittsburgh, ignore that idiot. I'm not from WV but I live in VA and I'm seeing a transgender therapist who also has the authorization to prescribe you HRT at August Health in Fishersville, VA. I don't know anything about Morgantown and that is for you to do your research online but I'm sure August Health is much closer to you than Pittsburgh is.
