What are examples of different kinds of hallucinations? ?

Recently I've been seeing things, like ill read a word and think it says something and then when I read it the 2nd time it says something different..
The other day I got on a bus that I thought said something and I noticed it said something different when I was on it going the wrong way..

I was just wondering what different examples of hallucinations are?

You're not hallucinating. Your mind is merely misinterpreting what your eyes are seeing.

A hallucination is when a person sees, hears, smells, tastes, or feels something that IS NOT THERE AT ALL.

According to my psychiatrist I might be schizophrenic, so I will tell you a bit about my hallucinations (as those are the only ones I know!! lol) anyway, I have voices in my head which tell me to do things, I speak to them, and I argue with them (about 8 times a day), I see monsters and demons waking around, living in trees, attacking things, trying to destroy me, and break in. And I see signs from God, like the northern lights indoors, but blue.

    Hope it helps

There's auditory hallucinations & mild hallucinations include dots, little lights, staring at things can make them morph. I have bipolar 1 disorder & major depressive disorder. If they are hallucinations where you see people, animals, etc. my father has schitzophrenia (and thats severe cases). You don't have anything.

Hallucinations refer to our 5 senses:

Visual - seeing things that are not there - seeing people, animals...

Auditory - hearing things that aren't there, most commonly voices in one's head.

Tactile - feeling things that aren't there, such as bugs under the skin or a ghost touching the person.

Olfactory - smelling things that aren't there. Quite common in people with epilepsy who experience an aura

Gustatory - tasting things that aren't there, such as being able to taste blood, or poison in food.

That is not a hallucination..... sometimes your mind just registers something other than what you just read. Happens to everyone sometimes. Hallucinations are seeing things that really aren't there. Like people, or animals, or flying through the universe, it isn't just mixing up what you did see.
