That's perfectly fine, but just remember that it's a habit you have created as a preferred way to masturbate. Habits can be unlearned, re-created with other ways of doing it. Masturbating another way feels uncomfortable because you're not used to it. Going prone also mimics sexual intercourse, which is why some guys like it.
I do it almost like that except I slide up and down on the bed instead of using my hands.
