Thread: I fell outside and fell on my hands and knees. The inside of my hand got cut up?

pretty badly, where there was a big flap of skin cut and hanging there. I ended up pulling off the big flap of skin. I don't think I should have. It's been 5 days now, and I have been putting neosporin on it, and putting a bandage over it. It is now healing, but the skin is so tight now. Will I ever get more skin to grow so it will loosen up? I wonder if I wouldn't have pulled that flap of skin off, maybe it would have helped to have had it there while it was healing?

You should have had it cleaned up and wrapped up with the skin still attached. It will feel much more sore now that you have removed it I'm afraid. If in doubt see a medic a.s.a.p.

Clean of the wound with hydrogen peroxide or bactine and then wrap it up. You should have left the skin on and cleaned the wound and posintion the piece of skin over the cut and wrapped it up. But if it gets infected go to the er
