I have been having M.S symptoms for many years. In the last three years they have got progressively worse with symptoms such as dizziness, pains in arms etc happening daily. At my last appointment with a neurology registrar the results of my MRI scan were shown to me which clearly showed white lesions indicating MS which the registrar confirmed. On wrapping up the appointment the registrar asked if I ever became breathless I said yes on occasion even though the last time this had happened was early last year, he said I should have a lumbar puncture and would arrange it before I saw the consultant the following month. I am not happy with this as it seems this is only being recommended because I had said I have been breathless before.
What do you think?
