I had food poisoning 6 days ago. I am able to eat normally and keep things down, but my stomach hurts after every time I eat, and sometimes even wakes me up at night. Not sure what I am supposed to do. One thought was that maybe I need to replace the "good" bacteria in my stomach and eat some yogurt, not sure though. Would love for my stomach to go back to normal. BTW, I am past the fluids and rice and saltine crackers- bananas phase. I just need my stomach to stop hurting after every meal.

You are doing the right thing . Just replace fluid loss and have soft diet . Wait for more 24 hours and for sure you will be okay .
Try one of those over the counter antacid like Prilosec. The store brands are much cheaper. Take it on an empty stomach for a few days and see if that helps. Your stomach is pretty raw and needs to regroup.
Your gastrointestinal system is still recovering from food poisoning. You should eat and drink slowly so that your stomach can adjust to the intake of food.
Taking yogurt and other sources of good bacteria is, of course, good. Just do it in moderation.
Are you sure it wasn't food poisioning and is the stomach flu? This seems to be hitting people this time of year. Maybe you could try some protein and see how it goes down with your stomach. Have you only been eating saltines, rice and drinking fluids? Maybe you are better but your stomach is sick of those foods and you need other nutrients now. I'm not a doctor or anything but this is just a guess-sometimes when I only eat certain foods for awhile, I still feel sick because I'm not eating the right foods.
