    Chest tightness high blood pressure?

I am 35 year old male. About 9 days ago out of nowhere my heart started racing. I was very scared and hours later it started to slow. But ever since then my chest has felt very tight and heavy. I went to the doctor and had an EKG done but nothing was abnormal in the results. My blood pressure was 145/110 which is crazy high. Im in shape and have never had any issues like this. My doctor gave me a beta blocker which has slowed down my racing heart but the tight chest feeling is constant. Does anyone have any ideas?

An EKG only shows what is happening when you are hooked up. And what happened in the past.(old heart attack).
Your muscles may just be sore from the anxiety, (heart beating fast ,fast breathing, tightening your chest).
If it doesn't improve. See your doc. Ask for a referral to a cardiologist for further assessment.
If you have symptoms oh a heart attack go to ER.
