you cant break a rib while coughing unless you have bones made of paper
ALOT.
I've had a broken rib thanks to a horse.. you can't stand, you can't sit, you can't lie down, every breath you take is like being stabbed with a knife... and worse there's not a thing you can do about it to lessen the pain. It's not like you can put a cast on a rib.
If you broke a rib... trust me, you're know.
Want me to call you an Ambulance?

Take two tylenol and call me in the morning
you may have bruised a rib, i have had this from coughing before. it hurts a lot, but it gets better after 2 weeks. just take it easy and try to get the cough to heal, go see a doctor about that .. wishing you better
