Thread: finger is sensitive and swollen?

i woke up one morning and both of my hands were swollen, like I had a lot of fluid. The swellen went down except for the middle right hand finger. It is swollen at the tip, sore more on the right side and hurts like hell if it gets bumped

Stick it in your ass it will make it feel better.

1) Did you or someone else cut it?
a) Yes - wash it and put antibacterial ointment and a bandage on it.
b) No - move on to #2.

2) Did you or someone else bang it, hit it, crush it, or otherwise injure it?
a) Yes - get to the hospital for xrays, it might be broken.
b) No - move on to #3.

3) Do you have a hangnail?
a) Yes - it's going to take time to heal this. Put a bandage on it and take a Tylenol.
b) No - move on to #4.

4) Can you see anything that looks like your finger was bitten or stung by something?
a) Yes - wash the finger, put a bandage on it and get to the doctor or hospital in case of poison.
b) No - move on to #5.

5) If there's NO GOOD explanation for your finger to be sensitive and swollen, get to the hospital immediately.
