    surgical sutures/stitches?

    I had a bad cut on my arm down to fatty tissue which had to be stitched. This happened monday and today the area is still numb, does this mean I will have lost the sensation there because surly the local anaesthetic would of worn of by now

    You have tiny nerves in your arm and what happens with deep cuts they have been cut and the numbness you are feeling will get better after they sorta grow back and you will not have the numbness but you might not have the sense of touch. Don't worry about it. Jo ann
