I have a Ultrasound report that stats,
Ultrasound to the palpable mass shows a solid mass approximately 13 x 10 mm x 13 mm, is smoothy outlined and hypoechoic. Adjacent is a similar mass 3 x 4 x 5 mm. Both masses are oval, nearly round.. Both of these masses contained vascularity.
Impression: Solid masses etiology unknow, clincal correlation and approriate followup.
I see the ENT in two week's. What dose this meen? .
midline neck mass
What body part was this ultrasound for?
Basically there are 2 masses, one larger and one smaller.
Vascularity means that there is a blood supply to the mass.
There is no way to know what this means without more information, specifically where the mass is and also what your symptoms are.
Definitive diagnosis of a mass usually requires a biopsy. Your doctor will let you know if this is necessary.
Good luck!
You have a solid mass that has blood flow. You're likely going to an ENT for a biopsy, and you might get blood work for thyroid.
