only fruits, vegetables and very little meat (maybe some Buffalo Wild Wings every couple weeks - and eat maybe 4 wings and some fries),
can I loose weight quickly?
I weigh 203.5lbs, but I feel fat (I'm 6'1" and my belly sticks out), and I want to be able to lose my belly and get down to about 180 or so.
As for the vegetables and fruits I eat, I eat maybe a couple green apples every two to three days, I drink lots of water, I eat baby carrots pretty often (maybe 5 a day) and I try to eat a lot of greens like salads, broccoli and celery and I'm drinking a lot of water and some pomegranate juice.
You'll lose your "belly" quicker if you exercise and eat BALANCED meals - INCLUDING lean meats.
Buffalo Wild Wings and fries is NOT a good choice because of all the fat.
Try and kick it up a notch why not try jogging for 30 minutes a day and toss in some pushups and crunches your goal will come much faster.
Actually, you need MORE lean meat and LESS fruit.
A grilled chicken breast three times a week will do you way more good than a few buffalo wings every couple weeks.
You really need to clean up your diet more. Eat lots of different fresh fruits and veggies daily with each meal and as snacks instead of chips, cookies, crackers, bars, etc. 5 baby carrots isn't a lot. It's just one serving. Even supposedly healthy varieties and 100 calorie packs aren't as good for you. An easy way to limit calories and get a balanced diet is divide your plate into quarters. First fill half your plate with veggies (without sauce or salt). The other quarters are for lean protein and healthy carb. Switch to whole grains and smaller portion size for pasta, rice, bread, and cereal. Cut out sweet, fried, processed, junk, and fast foods.
Buffalo wings and fries are fine as an occasional treat like you said every couple of weeks. That may give you incentive to eat healthy the rest of the time, knowing you won't be totally deprived of your favorites. Just don't have it very often.
Healthy chicken doesn't have to be just plain grilled. Check out this month's Oxygen fitness magazine for a lot of interesting sounding, healthy chicken recipes. Another good nutrition resource is The Eat Clean Diet Recharged book by Tosca Reno. Despite the name, it's not a fad diet book. Rather, it tells how to use healthy nutrition to lose weight and keep it off. It's easy to read and full of good tips, information, and other ideas.
