Does she have cancer?
I have a very good feeling one of my friends is lying to me about having cancer. She is a 20 year old female, and with her saying it is renal cancer, and me seeing no symptoms, and her "going to chemo" for it, when chemo is rarely used for renal cancer, its hard to believe, and its something horrible to lie about to get attention. Is there any way at all that I can find out whether she is telling the truth or not? Other than talking to her about it more? Because she is getting really good at this lying about it thing. So is there anyway I can find out for sure if she has it or not?

Not really.
For the sake of it, I would just play along and give her support.
If she's in fact lying, you'll know soon enough.
Sorry for being direct/cruel here - why are you friends with this person (assuming she is lying)?
Lying about Cancer... disgusting.
For her sake I hope she's lying...

Ask her how they found the cancer and the name of the chemotherapy drug she is taking. It would be difficult for most people to come up with the name of a chemotherapy drug and also know which diagnostics are used unless they have become familiar with this particualr cancer. If she is lying the answer will probably be vague or a very lengthy explanation that really isn't an answer to the question. You can compare her response to info on the web if she provides specific information.

When my grandpa had Renal Cancer he had to go to the Cleavland Clinic to get his kidney removed. Same with my friends dad. I don't remember if either of them got chemo or radiation treatment.

This question has been asked and answered. She would have had surgery and that would have been obvious.
Someone who is a known liar should not also be a friend.
If you feel a need for proof that bad ask her for a copy of her hospital bill.
