im going to go see a specialist to get a check up on my stomach.so i have been suffering from constipation for out 2 years now and 80% im constipated, i started bleeding a little this past december, whenever i would wipe i'd see a little bit of blood. i went to the doctor and he stuck his finger and a little scope and said there are no visible tears, and that i should see a specialist to see what might be the problem. i have been taking fiber for the last 4 days and have only bleed once and have not been constipated but have had alot of gas. so if you might have an idea of what i might have it'd be great because my doc really scared my when he said at the worst it might be colon cancer, im 18. so what other tests could be performed? (other than a colonoscopy) thanks!
Other than a colonoscopy, he might order a CT scan. Or possibly an xray of the area.
