    Tylenol 3 from 2002 safe to take?

    Would tylenol 3 from 2002 be safe to take will it just be not as strong?

    Read the expiry label punched into the bottle. Drugs break down over time and could actually become toxic.

    It has codeine in it and most medications break down over time. I would throw it out.
