I had my amalgams removed last year and now I'd like to know a safe way to chelate. Any suggestions?

Last year I had four fillings removed by a mercury free dentist. I had them in since I was 10 and had them removed at 34. One time I was intelligent but mentally have declined. I read up on mercury poisoning and I have every symptom. Now that there gone, what's my next step, what's safe? Is there a discussion group on Yahoo that can walk me through chelation? I kinda want my brain back thanks !

Yeah, you can't get heavy metal poisoning from amalgam fillings. That's a myth perpetuated by cranks on the Internet.

The theoretical risks failed to materialise. The safety if such fillings is well established.

If you had heavy metal poisoning it would be horribly obvious.

I wonder why dentists are defending this filling? Wouldn't it be so easy for them to say "in light of new information, the amalgam filling is unsafe...sorry" Then, proceed to charge millions of people for its removal? Yet, only the cranks are cashing in...hm...curious isn't it?
