    Massage Therapy...Can I?

    can i take massage therapy qualifications test without going to college/ massage school?

    In order to become a licensed massage therapist, you need to have taken certain pre-med classes.

    Depends on your state. Most states have educational requirements that must be met in order to obtain a license. California is the only one that comes immediately to mind that does not have a state license, but they issue permits by county. Check on the rules in your area.

    Part of getting certified as a massage therapist involves a certain amount of clinic hours where you actually perform massages on clients under the supervision of a licensed therapist or instructor. You can't get your state certification without completing those hours. The certification also requires a number of classroom instruction credits that lead to the test. You can't shortcut the requirements and become certified.
