How do I get rid of hives?
i dont know
are you talking about bee hives or wasp hives? Well I will recommend that you put insecticide on it first. But wait until the middle of the night, because that's when insects are less active. Put the insecticide on the hive and then the next morning take it out immediately.
An antihistamine...phenerghan, clarantyne etc
Raid
Hives are rashes that appear as pale red bumps or welts on the skin, often emerging suddenly. Itching, burning and stinging sensations are common effects of hives, and they can appear on the face, lips, tongue and even the throat and ears. Hives generally last for hours or up to several days. There are instances when it is impossible to determine exactly what caused the hives to form. Angioedema is similar to hives; however, rather than occurring on the surface of the skin, the swelling occurs beneath it. It lasts longer than hives but generally goes away less than 24 hours. Areas that experience swelling are around the eyes and mouth, the genitals, hands and feet. A patient with hives or angioedema should contact a doctor if dizziness, wheezing, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest and swelling of the tongues, lips or face occur.
Most anti-allergy drugs work by disabling liquid transfer between the cellular wall and soft tissues. That’s why they can usually stop a hives outbreak on it’s tracks. However, the underlying problem is still there and you will have to use the medication over and over again in order to relieve your symptoms. For some people, outbreaks happen only once a week or month. For other, the outbreaks occur almost constantly. Having urticaria that is triggered by water for example will make anyone’s life difficult.
