Thread: Is it possible that I can be allergic to guinea pigs?

OK every time when my guinea pigs nose touch my chain as i reach to kiss them I get really itchy so i ask my little brother to check if there is anything under my chain he said he see a little tiny red spots all over my chain. And once i stop holding them the all the rashes goes away . this never happened before when I first got them until now. I told my brother to put his chain on their nose and nothing happen. I don't know if it's their fur or their whisker(it only happen when my chain touch their whiskers) that cause this reaction and I don't know why the rashes only occur on my chain. So I'm not sure do you think it's a sign of being allergic to guinea pigs(I hope not because I love those guinea pigs and I don't want my mom to give them away)

I think you mean "chin", but yes, it is possible to be allergic to guinea pigs. I use to be allergic to mine one and I would get a red spots on my face and sneeze constantly.
