I work at a vet and I got scratched by a cat. The next morning I had an itchy rash appear around the site of my scratch on my wrist. The rash didn't spread to my hand until a few day after. I went to the doctor and the diagnosis was mites. I was prescribed a steroid cream but overnight the rash spread to my other arm, legs, neck, and face. My Workman's comp is saying that they might not cover it due to the diagnosis. What is it and what do I do?
